Fortunately, Unfortunately
Nov. 10th, 2022 09:33 pmDo you remember those Parents Magazine Press books from the 1960s? Fortunately, by Remy Charlip is still one of the books I use to engage reluctant readers.
I had a Fortunately, Unfortunately day today. Nixie and I took Dutch to a beginning Nose Work class this evening, which was so much fun! It was an hour of hiding treats in boxes, on tables, under boxes, behind obstacles, and commanding the dog to "Find it!" We all had a really good time. But the dog training facility is in a small warehouse in a warehousey part of town, with no streetlights and no off-street parking. I came out to find that someone had smashed into the driver's side of my car, and bent both doors in. The car still drives but the doors don't open all the way. Don't know what it's going to cost to fix.
