She is 10 months old, 40 lbs, from Aztec, New Mexico. My one requirement was that she be tolerant and gentle with the tiny, elderly, bossy dog who has dibs in this house. She is not just tolerant, they have been playing together successfully all afternoon.
We're taking suggestions for names. They called her Paquita at the shelter, but I don't think it fits. I like Alma, because she is so soft, but a word with a plosive works better for calling a dog. Mungo suggested Echo. Neal suggested Chili or Hatch, because she is chill, and she comes from New Mexico.
What would you call her?
