Ha, sympathy, I spent yesterday Fighting The Verdant.

It is amazing what you can lose in The Verdant. Tools, gloves, tiny dog, all the time in the world...

I notice that the flagstone path is unimpeded. I once spent a cheerful couple of hours with elisem clearing some of the overgrown brambles in a friend's back yard. When we were done, it was still somewhat wild, but she could walk from her back door to the end of the garden. And I'd had all the blackberries I could eat, because we were doing this in August.

My yard looks much the same. Too busy on the inside of the house to worry about the outside yet.
