If you do not know if you have the BRCA gene, and you would like to find out, and you would not like your medical professionals to find out, 23andme will provide you with results for the most common BRCA mutations. They are the ones that affect people with Ashkenazi descent. (I am 3.74% Ashkenazi, apparently. Didn't know until 2015.) They are reasonably good with privacy, although my general opinion is that anyone will give up anything, given a warrant.
