I know the gecko was his partner's, and died months ago, before they moved in together. I assume the hamster was an even earlier pet. I know that people who have small pets and live in apartments often keep their bodies in the freezer until they get a chance to bury them. But where does the pile of dirt come in?

It puzzles me that they would bury the pets and then put them in the freezer. If that is what happened.

But if they haven't been in the freezer then how are they still "bodies" after all this time? Did they get mummified somehow?
