I love that tree. It has such an air. And plenty of room between branches for ornaments, if you are going that route.

Dutch sniffed it over and lost interest. Newt, the tiny guy, really isn't noticing much of anything these days. He toddles around and bumps into things, then goes around again and bumps into them again. In the photo, you can see the corner of the playpen I got to keep him safe when I'm not watching him.

I'm thinking about the end-of-life questions more now, since most of the time it is too cold for him to be comfortable outside, but he doesn't seem to be in pain, so I'll just wait and see.
