Thanksgiving

Mungo had to work until 8:00, but he and Nixie, Neal and Rosemary, Dutch and Newt and I had dinner together today.

Mungo's client died while he was the only one there. She had stage 4 lung cancer, and had moved to "comfort care". It was not a hard death, but it was the first time Mungo saw someone die.

We had potato gratin,

lentil soup,

acorn squash, and apple pie


Dutch is here to help with whatever needs eating:


Newt tucked himself into bed whenever there wasn't a lap available.

That is a hard first for anyone. Good that he had something comforting afterward.

We went to an Indian buffet, which seemed appropriate and was tasty!
