They ended up amputating Aiko's ear. I keep getting that Stevie Nicks song stuck in my head, but it's just an ear.
. And he doesn't mind having his beauty diminished; he's very shy, so he doesn't love it when strangers want to pet him.

Yes, he's healing well. They took the stitches out today and I think his platelets must still be low, because there was one scab that started leaking and wouldn't stop, so they sealed it up with surgical glue. The vet techs do love him but he does not love them back.

Is Monte starting to feel like herself again?

The codeine knocks her over, but otherwise you'd not know anything had happened. She's not even interested in licking at the 7" long incision.
