Hmm, have reserved In Real Life at the library! Sounds just interesting enough. (I've thought about trying to read everything C Docotorow writes, but that just isn't realistic.)

(Haven't read any Marie Brennan, partly from overdosing on dragons via Anne McCaffrey in the '80s. You're not the only person I know who enjoys Brennan's books, though.)

Oooh, The Golem and the Jinni! Started that and really liked it; plan to finish it someday. Recent immigrants in that period of New York City really resonates with me, especially Jewish immigrants.
