I'll be interested to learn more of how you read Gone Girl, which oddly enough I've read.

I haven't read any Ruth Rendell in a long time, but I've appreciated her framing of violence ad death as coming out of failures of love.

I'm kind of clapped out presently, but hope to email you tomorrow or Friday and-- if it works for you-- schedule meeting.
