I've put Menage down hard twice, but picked it back up twice. I'm returning it tomorrow, done or not done.
Also reading Stuck in the Middle with You: a memoir of parenting in three genders by Jennifer Finney Boylan, which is delightful.
• What did you recently finish reading?
The Replacement, by Brenna Yovanoff. I wish I had written down which of you recommended this: first, because it's good and I'd like to thank you, and second, because I want to see whether the idea that Yovanoff has been thinking about The One Who Walk Away From Omelas was something I came up with, or something I remembered from your review.

Maybe The Sparrow, for the science fiction book group, or Lamb, for the other book group.
