This is for bookgroup. I should schedule an event for spring, too, so my house gets clean at least twice a year. It'll have to be very early spring, though, because as soon as gardening season starts, the house is just a place to rest when it's too dark, wet, or cold to garden.

Date: 2024-10-22 07:27 am (UTC)Before the pandemic, we hosted about eight events a year, ranging from family dinners to meetings of our SF club. So the house always did need cleaning before the next event, but it could only get so dirty and cluttered. We haven't resumed any social life that isn't outside, and the house has really suffered for it.
