Just started watching season 3 of Happy Valley and went wait wait what? That's where I know Izzy Hands from! He is only a minor character in Happy Valley, but so soft and sweet, it is hard to reconcile!

(Happy Valley is not a soft and sweet show. One of the major characters is a violent sociopath.)

I've finished season 3, but I had exactly the same reaction when I started it!

I just ran across him in a totally different context -- he was a police inspector or something in The Batman -- and I only recognized him by that hoarse voice.
