I am so bad at conversation. I keep trying.

June: Black Leopard, Red Wolf by Marlon James
July: Red Country by Joe Abercrombie
August: A Paladin of Souls by Lois McMaster Bujold
September: The Raven Tower by Ann Leckie
October: The Outside by Ada Hoffmann
November: Agents of Dreamland by Caitlin R. Kiernan + Monstress by Marjorie Liu
December Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir
January (2021): This is How You Lose the Time War by Max Gladstone and Amal El-Mohtar
and Sisters of the Vast Black by Lina Rather
February: Dark and Deepest Red by Anna-Marie McLemore
March: Berserker by Emmy Laybourne
April: The Breath of the Sun by Isaac Fellman
May: Sixteen Ways to Defend a Walled City by K.J. Parker

There are some excellent books there.

I'm in the middle of reading Marlon James's Black Leopard, Red Wolf right now. It's not an easy read, but it's good.

That looks like an excellent list; I haven't read most of those.

That looks great! I haven't read most of those, but what I read I really liked.

A bunch of these are on my TBR list. The only ones I've already read are Paladin of Souls, Raven Tower, and This Is How You Lose the Time War.

I'm a little jealous of when you're reading Gideon the Ninth only because it means you'll be able to immediately read the sequel after you finish it.

I envy your book group, and the books on your list that I have read make me curious about the rest of them.
