:) I sang the first and third verses at the march yesterday. I found myself in a crowd that didn't seem taken by chanting and there wasn't any nearby music. Then the sun suddenly came out from behind the clouds, and it seemed apropos. "As we go marching, marching, in the beauty of the day// A million darkened kitchens, a thousand mill-lofts grey// are touched with all the radiance a sudden sun discloses// for the people hear us singing 'Bread and roses, bread and roses.'"
