I brought three books home from SF book group: City of Stairs, by Robert Jackson Bennett, which is the book for next month; The House of Shattered Wings, by Aliette de Bodard, which also has to be read by next month so I can pass it on; and The Last Rainbow, by Parke Godwin, which doesn't have a deadline so it will probably go on the shelf and never come off.

I really liked City of Stairs. More than I expected, in fact! I'm looking forward to the next in the trilogy/series.

Oh, wow, I hadn't thought about Parke Godwin in ages, but I loved what I read back in the day. My favorite Arthurian treatment ever. I would recommend you read Firelord and Beloved Exile (in that order) before The Last Rainbow, since it'll make more sense that way. Should you ever get to it at all, that is. *g*
