proof god loves me and wants me to be happy

I was having kind of a crappy day and then I went to my favorite restaurant and happened to be seated next to a woman I knew but hadn't seen in years -- actually two women I knew but hadn't seen in years and their husbands and a bunch of other people. I was in a book group with them for many years but then I dropped out but they're still going, many years + years later! And these two were women I really liked. So I got to catch up with them.

And then Nixie called. She was coming into town to pick up a friend, so I asked her to pick me up at the restaurant, so I could show her off to my friends who had known her as a child -- I was in the book group from before I had her till she was maybe ten -- and also introduce her to the staff at my favorite restaurant.

And now I feel like this.

She did! She made butterflies out of fish bones and learned to cartwheel. You should come see them!
