happy new year!

I began it as I mean to go on,a day in pajamas with a book. Tomorrow I will put on pants, and go see The Shape of Water with Mungo, who goes back to Montreal this week. Nixie probably will not see it, at least not until it comes out on DVD and she can pause the scary parts. Last week we saw Coco, which was excellent. Funny to hear Rogelio De la Vega playing the role of the good dad who stays home and meets his family's expectations, while someone else takes the path of sacrificing human connections for stardom!

My resolution is to write at least a sentence about every book I read.
