One of them seems to have fallen off the roof, slid down the side of the house, pooed in fear when it got to the window and continued sliding down the window through the poo.
Meanwhile, the polar vortex has pulled unusual numbers of rough-legged hawks south to Colorado for the winter. Neal saw three on his way back from the airport to send our girl flying back to Portland. The raptor center took in five in December and four so far in January; in 2012 they got only one.
Tawanda bookgroup didn't have a book in January, so we went to see Dallas Buyers' Club and then out for dinner. Wendy wanted a plastic bag, because she was worried her leftovers would spill while she was going home on her bike. I hesitated, but I did have a supply of sturdy plastic bags in my pocket; she was glad to accept one even though it was labelled Poo Pickup.
