We are lucky this year, there doesn't seem to be a massive bloom of stinkbugs, but we're a few days behind on ripe. Also the new rabbits ate my first two ripe strawberries! Their mangled corpses on the lawn.
Oooooh, thank you for the reminder. I have to talk to the new neighbors about their raspberries. Old neighbor was fine with us eating as many of her raspberries as we wanted, even if we went into her yard. Then she sold her house. I have some hope that new neighbors will also be okay, but need to check.

mmmmm
Truly fresh raspberries need nothing to taste perfect.
But a pal taught me a neat trick for so-so raspberries: drizzle them with 1/4 to 1/2 tsp Balsamic vinegar.
