dogs are all Tories

Dogs do not like it when you cram everything you own -- including all their things! -- into two and a half rooms and then move out. Dogs worry when they're living in someone else's house, even though the people are very nice and you are there too. Dogs do not like it one little bit when you pack your suitcase again and go someplace without them.

Going to visit my mom. Back in less than a week.

The card represents the critical factor for the issue at hand. Six of Swords (Science), when reversed: Conceit and intellectual pride. Being stuck in a problem which has no apparent solution. Frustration and anxiety that are left unsettled. Travel and exploration are delayed.

I really wonder how our new dog would react to that scenario. Archie is more extraverted than the rest of our family put together -- and by that I mean putting together EVERY dog, cat, or human who has EVER been a part of our family. His greatest joy in life is meeting new people and new dogs. I take him to doggie daycare once a week, and when I get there to pick him up, his reaction is basically, "Oh, it's you again. I guess the party's over."

He is so different from our old dog, Sally, it's almost like he's a different species.
