I love Jane too! I am at the part where Jane notices that Something is Going On with Emily, even though she is distracted by her own Somethings. Jane strives, with so much care, to 1. not violate Emily's autonomy, and 2. do whatever she can to protect Emily without breaking rule 1, and I love her for it!
