I agree with you, and add that Alicia consistently treats her children as if they were much younger. Did you see the episode where Alicia asks them to reassure her that they know they can talk to her about anything, and Grace asks whether she should get the HPV vaccine, and Alicia flips out? (I know the kids did it on purpose to make her flip out, but that just reinforces my point: she talks a good game about honesty and trust but she doesn't follow through and they know it!)
